salut, este vreo problema dacă adaug aditivul Ceratec ceramic de la liqui moly , dar după 100 de km de la schimbarea uleiului, tocmai ce l am descoperit ulterior schimbului si chiar are recenzii bune pe amazon cum nu prea exista la alte produse , peste 20 000 de recenzii... pozitive majoritatea , deci sunt curios dacă în contact cu uleiul uzat vreo100 de km acest aditiv nefiind amestecat , și nefiind uleiul proaspăt, este ok ?

Very nice video, lots of working behind. I have a mustang Gt 2013, 5.0 liter, naturally asipired. I changed my stock air filter for a K&N filter. At beggining I can notice a better response and an engine noise more deep. But, after 8.000 Km my car started to rattle in cold start every mornig. It took me so many work to find out the issued. And yes, It was the K&N filter. I live in a town with dusty road, and particles just partially clogged the K&N filter. The Oil works like a net, all dust was captured and the filter got saturated very fast. I found this video, because I looking for better options. I think AEM Dryfilter is the answer (No Oil al all). I'm definitely going to try it. I have to mention, before K&N filter, I always had used OEM filters and during 100.000 km, I never have had a clogging issued in muy mustang.

The flow through the filter would be interesting. Like how much actually was pumped through the circuit. Because the Mann had less on the sample, but significantly higher active area.

I like the comparison between used and old oils. But I don't like this (quite common for DIYers) wear testing setup. It is a point contact that is too extreme. It will always wear, even with the thickest oil and high speed. It represents no situation in an engine at all.

Could you do a comparison of multiple cold air intake systems for a modern diesel like the duramax L5P? In particular the banks monster air intake vs other brands. There are a lot of claims made but does it really help fuel economy, EGT, acceleration in the hills while towing, HP? Is banks worth the money or will a cheaper one work?

In our market there are some important reference : Valeo Silencio x-trm, Valeo HydroConnect, Michelin radius beam, Continental aqua ctrl 2 and "Balais d'essuie-glace PLAT Autobacs" with fluorine, Oximo MT with téflon and Bosch Aerotwin of course.

The filters need testing on a motor not a test bench. The k&n needs the vibration of the motor to work correctly. Look up David vizard clip on this subject.

if the headlights are starting to yellow then definetly go for a polish i personnaly had them in this stage and i can now see the diffrence since i had to change the right headlight because of a minor incident the right headlight is 2-3 times brighter than the left one even trought the it also has a lot of scratches too il polish both of them today and see the diffrence
